Print FAQ & Terms

Can I get a framed print?

Generally I'm not offering framed prints because of shipping difficulties. If you are able to pick up your framed print please contact me and I'll get you a quote for a framed print.

How long will the order take?

Each print is made to order and it usually takes about 3 weeks to produce it plus shipping. Occasionally I have prints in stock and the turnaround time is shorter.

How long will my photo paper print last?

The longevity of a print depends on various factors like humidity, heat and of course light intensity. Hanging photos in direct sunlight will shorten the lifespan of the best prints.

In a sunny room at home with all day sun (ca. 450 Lux - a light mix of direct/indirect sunlight and artificial light) you could expect average lifespans of around 40 years. If you hang it in Museum conditions in around 150 Lux of light you could expect lifespans of over 100 years.

These numbers are for the plain prints. If you now add a protective UV coating, like some of my prints already have, or hang them in a frame with UV glazing then you could expect an even greater lifespan.

Are the prints signed?

Yes, each limited edition print is stamped, numbered, dated and signed on the back.

Can I get a custom size print?

If you require a custom size print please contact me and I'll try my best to make it happen.

How do you ship the prints?

All prints are being shipped in a robust mail tube and protected by acid-free, un-buffered glassine paper.

I'm ordering from overseas, do I have to pay taxes?

Not if you are ordering from overseas and have your prints shipped outside New Zealand. Export orders are billed exempt of GST (Goods & Service Tax). However, you are responsible for paying any import duties & fees that might incur at your local customs. Please check with your countries customs authority what the fees are likely to be before ordering.

Prices, availability and shipping times are subject to change without notice.

Even though I try my best to keep everything up to date, occasionally service providers like freight companies change their prices. All prices stated on the website are in New Zealand Dollar (NZ$).

Payment

Once you've place your order, I will confirm it and send you the payment details. At the moment I can only accept bank transfer or cash.

Returns & Refund Policy

When you receive your print and you're not happy with it for some reason, please contact me .

In the unlikely event that the print got damaged during shipping, please contact me immediately so I can make insurance claims. It's important to inspect the mail tube from the outside for damages before opening the package. Please record any damage for insurance claims. If the mail tube is undamaged, the print should be, too.
